VHS Lockup Checklist

1 · Before you start

Front door — confirm locked before starting

2 · Woodshop — back door

Back door — latch secure, all 2 floor pegs in Wood shop lights — switch left of back bay door

3 · Machine shop & welding

Machine shop lights — switch by the door Machine shop — unoccupied Welding shop — unoccupied

4 · Main space & lounge

Tools off — soldering stations, power supplies, 3D printers

Leave 3D printers running only if owner is returning shortly

Main space 1 lights — under parabolic reflector, left of free shelf Furnace room — unoccupied Server room — unoccupied Washrooms — unoccupied Thermostat — set lounge to 16°

5 · Upstairs & stairs

Upstairs office lights — switch by the door Main space 2 lights — switch at top of stairs

6 · "Is VHS Open" widget

Bottom of stairs — if red readout shows a closing time:

Widget — set closing time to 1 min ahead of actual time Open sign — confirm off

If sign stays lit but widget is off → unplug sign & post in #random

7 · Exit & lock

Side door — locked (west side, near front) Front door — lock from outside

Close → push lock button on keypad → turn knob CCW

Front door — test locked
